Borderlands and peacebuilding

Borderlands are geographic regions that straddle an international border. They frequently become central to wartime struggles but are often overlooked. This Accord explores how past peace processes have incorporated or neglected borderland regions, and offers a new way of thinking about how peacebuilders and policymakers can respond to conflict in these regions.
