Smart Peace

With the number of violent conflicts increasing, there is a worldwide need to respond more effectively. We are leading a global consortium to improve how to build peace in fragile and conflict-affected states.

Dialogue and mediation are proven to be effective in preventing and resolving conflicts, which are often complex, political and frequently-changing. But there is more to be done to understand how these approaches can adapt – responding quickly to changing politics and overcoming obstacles that block progress.
