Liberia and Sierra Leone have both experienced over ten years of relative peace after
enduring decades of violent conflict. The UN has withdrawn peacekeepers, free and fair
elections have taken place, and refugees have returned home. However, challenges to long-term stability remain. In this edition of Accord we have brought together over 20 experts to examine lessons learnt, and how to overcome the final hurdles to peace.
