Sebastian provides project, administrative and logistical support to the Papua New Guinea programme and key partners in Bougainville as the Programme Officer, Papua New Guinea. Prior to joining the organisation in January 2022, he worked in policy, research and advocacy with Youth Affairs Council Victoria, the peak body for young people and the youth sector with a focus on disability, rural and regional issues, homelessness and public transport. Sebastian has a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and Politics & International Studies from University of Melbourne and recently completed an Honours program in Anthropology where his thesis explored how people in diaspora communities use music and performance to navigate identity and connection.
