Sally Holt
Sally supports research projects at Conciliation Resources, including our Accord publications. Prior to joining Conciliation Resources in February 2019, Sally was Deputy Director at the Democratic Progress Institute, an NGO working on conflict resolution and democratisation in Turkey. She has worked at the intersection of conflict, development and human rights, with a particular focus on minority rights, as a staff member and consultant for policy-oriented research centres, NGOs and intergovernmental organisations (UN, OSCE and EU).
She has been a Senior Research Fellow at the Centre on Human Rights in Conflict, University of East London, a Research Fellow in Peace Studies at Bradford University, and an Adviser to the Initiative on Quiet Diplomacy. She has also managed a social inclusion research programme for the Aga Khan Foundation (UK) and served as a Legal Officer for the OSCE High Commissioner on National Minorities. Sally holds an MA in Understanding and Securing Human Rights from the University of London’s School of Advanced Studies.
