Nyeko Caesar Poblicks
Caesar has worked with Conciliation Resources for over 20 years, initially in support of the Ugandan diaspora peace conference Kacoke Madit, and subsequently as Project Manager in the East and Central Africa Programme (ECAP). He supported partners and peace processes in the Central African Republic, the Democratic Republic of Congo, South Sudan and Uganda. He later transitioned into the role of Dialogue Adviser in our Africa Department, supporting initiatives in West Africa and the Horn of Africa.
As a Programme Associate Caesar continues to provide support and advice to ECAP and the Africa Department. He also undertakes other initiatives, such as an ongoing consultancy with the Civil Affairs section of United Nations Mission in the Central African Republic (MINUSCA), assessing the effectiveness of local community peace agreements supported by the UN, and training of UN Civil Affairs Liaison Officers in community dialogue approaches.
