Nicole Waintraub is the Director of Facilitation and Mediation Support at Ottawa Dialogue, an organization she co-founded and built into an internationally recognized centre of excellence for conflict resolution. Her skills and expertise have been deployed into conflict situations in the Middle East and South Asia. In addition to her mediation and research work, Nicole also sits on the steering committee of Equal Voice – National Capital Region where she organizes programming and advocacy activities in support of Equal Voice’s mission to increase the representation of women in politics. She holds an MA in Public and International Affairs from the University of Ottawa and a BA in Political Studies from Queen’s University.

Nicole Waintraub is a member of Women Mediators across the Commonwealth (WMC), a network hosted by Conciliation Resources which connects women with a broad range of mediation knowledge and experience.
