A former staff member of mediatEUr, Miguel teaches Mediation and International Relations at the University of Valladolid. He has a PhD from the University of Valladolid in digital sociology and social discourses in social media, as well as an MA in documentary photography by the University of Arts London. 

Miguel coordinated our Dialogue Support Platform Project in Ukraine and our broader work on digital technologies for peacebuilding. He has accompanied the design and implementation of various projects, including the build up to the European Institute of Peace; the Evaluation of the United Nations Standby Team for Mediation Experts; the EEAS Community of Practice on Peace Mediation; and our Voices of Syria project.

In 2021, mediatEUr became Conciliation Resources EU/mediatEUr.
