Megan Fearon

Megan Fearon is a former Member of the Legislative Assembly and government minister in Northern Ireland. She brings a unique perspective and passion for peacebuilding and conflict resolution, shaped by her personal experiences and political background. Witnessing first-hand community transformations along the border, Megan advocates for local ownership of peace initiatives and addressing inter-generational trauma.

A former Chairperson of the Northern Ireland Assembly Women's Caucus and All-Party Group on UNSCR 1325, she champions women's leadership in peacebuilding.

Megan is currently Head of Impact and Engagement at AONTAS, the voice of adult learning across Ireland, promoting the transformative power of adult education in communities.
