Dudziro Nhengu
Dudziro Nhengu is a governance, gender, peace, security and conflict resolution practitioner and scholar. Dudziro has worked on personal empowerment, resilience building and community relations transformation with academic institutions, security sector actors, civil society, international organisations, community women, traditional leaders, youth and market women across Sub-Saharan Africa. She has worked with women’s peace committees who build community peace through mediation practice, mediating both interpersonal and intergroup, politically based conflicts at both the community and national level. She is the Lead Associate for Gender Associations International Consulting (GAIC), a Berlin-based organisation. This organisation provides praxis-oriented research, policy analysis, capacity-building and training through a global network of freelance global consultants to promote gender equality and the human rights of diverse and vulnerable populations in fragile, crisis and post-conflict situations.
Dudziro Nhengu is a member of Women Mediators across the Commonwealth (WMC), a network hosted by Conciliation Resources which connects women with a broad range of mediation knowledge and experience.
