Caroline Brooks
Caroline Brooks is a peacebuilding and conflict transformation practitioner. She is currently a Senior Advisor at Amnesty International where she advises leaders on conflict transformation, crisis management, wellbeing, and organisational development. Prior to joining Amnesty, Caroline was the Syria Programme Manager at International Alert, where she worked on multi-track diplomacy and inclusive peace processes. She is a fellow of the OSCE’s inaugural Women Peace Leaders Programme, which promotes women’s roles in mediation. Caroline also has experience in political and security risk consulting within the private sector, with a focus on Iraq and Afghanistan. Outside of work Caroline is involved with several animal rescue and rehoming organisations, and she volunteers for a charity that promotes animal and human companionship and helps keeps people with their pets during illness, older age, or hardship.
