Sujeet Karn

Sujeet Karn obtained a PhD in Social Anthropology from the University of Hull. His research focuses on the anthropology of violence, death and bereavement, borderland livelihoods and security in South Asia, and everyday religion in the Himalaya. He has worked as a development professional for various national and international NGOs, and is currently a researcher for an ESRC-funded research project being conducted by the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London, and Martin Chautari, Kathmandu. He is also a visiting lecturer at the Social Work Programme at the Centre for Nepal and Asian Studies, Tribhuban University.
