Alicia Kuin
Alicia Kuin is a mediator and conflict transformation specialist having facilitated over 700 processes. Alicia mediates complex multiparty intercultural, ideological, human rights, government, military, academic, and workplace conflicts. She teaches at Osgoode Hall in the LL.M. in ADR programme on the topics of Conflict Analysis and Process Design. Her international experience includes working alongside legal counsel at the United Nations International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia and to the National Democratic Front of the Philippines (NDF). She is a Fellow of the International Academy of Mediators, Founder and former Chair of Mediators Beyond Borders International (MBBI) Canada, and former Director of the ADR Institute of Ontario. She has authored articles on process design, dispute resolution, reconciliation and the mediation landscape in Canada.
Alicia Kuin is a member of Women Mediators across the Commonwealth (WMC), a network hosted by Conciliation Resources which connects women with a broad range of mediation knowledge and experience.
