As a women leader and a frontline advocate for peace, Adah led the first women action for peace in the north-west region of Cameroon through a sit down lamentation. She has also been strengthening women and youth voices in rural communities affected by conflict in effective participation as a mediator and peace actor with the collaboration of the municipal councils. In 2016 she was recognised by the British High Commission as a beneficiary of the Cameroon Women Scholarship regarding women as agents of change. She has also received an award from Plan Cameroon in 2017 for the Best Girl Initiative. She is member of the steering committee for the women situation room for peace and security in Cameroon. 

Adah Mbah Muyang is a member of Women Mediators across the Commonwealth (WMC), a network hosted by Conciliation Resources which connects women with a broad range of mediation knowledge and experience.
