This is a paper by John Massaquoi, the Coordinator of the Sulima

Fishing Community Development Project (SFCDP).  It provides some background to the problems affecting the communities supported by SFDCP in Sierra Leone who live on the border with Liberia.  It then gives an overview of the organisation's varied peacebuilding and educational activities.

The report focuses on community conflict resolution workshops which utilise peace monitors and grievance committees and gives a unique insight into their success by way of a case study about a leadership dispute.  It finishes with an impact assessment which confirms the growing demand for such workshops.
