In October 2015, the United Nations Security Council will convene a high-level review to assess progress in implementing Security Council resolution 1325 on women, peace and security. As part of this process, a global study has been commissioned to highlight examples of good practice, implementation gaps and challenges, and priorities for action.
Conciliation Resources put forward its submission to the Global Study drawing on its support to women peacebuilders and its vision for more inclusive peace processes. The submission includes an in-depth analysis of the Mindanao peace process, and concludes with recommendations for UN member states and agencies.
