The event will provide new ideas and insights for effective UNSCR 1325 implementation, highlighting the need for a holistic gender perspective. This includes addressing masculinities and the role of men in gender, peace & security. The speakers will give a wide variety of practical examples of gender mainstreaming based on their extensive experience in peacebuilding and conflict prevention policy and practice.The event will showcase the quality and potential of partnerships between different stakeholders, both men and women and between peacebuilding organizations, for strengthening efforts for gender-sensitive peace.
