Through Conciliation Resources EU, we have a history of deploying experts for the EU, and providing mediation training to different governments, institutions and other bodies. We have also provided training in other specific areas of peacebuilding, for example in gender-sensitive conflict analysis, to the UK Government, UN and others.
Training peacemakers for the future
We have a long track record of providing bespoke, tailor-made training for mediators, facilitators and peacebuilders at the local, national and transnational level. We have a network of experienced trainers to train and coach parties in conflict; mediators; officials and policymakers in negotiation, mediation and facilitation. Over the past decade, we have provided training for government departments, diplomats from the EU, OSCE, the UN, and local conflict parties. Examples of training themes include gender sensitive conflict analysis, humanitarian mediation, and the use of peace technologies in mediation efforts.
Deploying mediation expertise around the globe
Since 2012, Conciliation Resources EU has been deploying mediation expertise for the European Union around the world, through specialised contracts and assignments.
Until 2021, we worked in partnership with Swisspeace, ESSEC-Irene, Search for Common Ground, European Centre for Development Policy Management and the Toledo Centre for International Peace CITPAX, to provide high-quality, timely and tailored external expertise and technical assistance in the areas of conflict prevention, peace mediation and dialogue support through a network of proven and trusted experts.
