A crucial vote in the House of Lords last week saw greater legal protection for aid workers who respond to humanitarian crises, but failed to acknowledge the important need to protect peacebuilders in their work.

On 21 January 2019, a referendum will take place in the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) in the Philippines. The vote will decide the future status of the predominantly Muslim region of Western Mindanao, called the Bangsamoro. As we count down the days to this crucial vote, Conciliation Resources and partners are working to ensure voters are adequately informed.
