After almost twenty years in Islington, Conciliation Resources is moving. As of 31 March you can find us at Burghley Yard, 106 Burghley Road, London NW5 1AL.
Our new office is a converted urban barn, once owned by St John’s College Cambridge, built in the early 19th Century to house hackney carriages (and their horses). Now it is a lovely modern and eco-friendly space with exposed wooden beams, a cobblestone yard and big steel and glass windows. It's very near London underground and overground stations, as well as being at the foot of Highgate Hill and not so far from Hampstead Heath.
For the first time we will all be co-located in one space, under one roof with lots of rooms for meetings and workshops and the other creative things we do. We even have space to sub-let to a smaller like-minded organisation.
We are all going to miss the neighbourhood – and some the karaoke bar and the Worker's Cafe. Islington has been a big part of who we have been and what we have become, giving us a lot of the buzz, hope and dynamism that the area has to offer. We hold lots of memories of the friends and colleagues who have worked with us here over the years and all that has been dreamed up and accomplished at 173 Upper Street.
We look forward to welcoming you to Burghley Yard and finding out what kind of future we can make there together.
