Enabling change: Lessons from grant-making to increase women’s participation in peace processes

We have been working with the UN Women's Peace and Humanitarian Fund’s Rapid Response Window since 2021 to support women peacebuilders and increase women’s participation in peace processes and the implementation of peace agreements. This report captures lessons from our work with partners in Liberia, Kenya and Ethiopia, covering what we can learn from these unique efforts to improve women’s participation, and what donors, INGOs, policymakers and practitioners need to do to better support women peacebuilders.
