Since joining Conciliation Resources in September 2018, Immy has supported the Caucasus Programme, overseeing logistics for dialogue and strategic planning meetings and liaising closely with partner organisations to support project management and administration. Immy is also one of Conciliation Resources' staff forum representatives, the forum works to enables dialogue and consultation within the organisation.
Immy holds an MSc in Violence, Conflict and Development from SOAS, University of London, and a BA in Modern & Medieval Languages (Russian and Spanish) from Fitzwilliam College, Cambridge. Her masters dissertation explored the extent to which state security interests and commercial interests or human security concerns have informed donor funding for humanitarian mine action since the inception of the 1997 Landmine Ban Treaty. Immy previously gained valuable experience working in the NGO and development sector, through internships with the European Human Rights Advocacy Centre in Hendon, the Eurasia Foundation of Central Asia in Bishkek, and the Colombian Campaign to Ban Landmines in Bogotá.
